The City Treasurer is responsible for the preparation of all real and personal property tax bills for the City of Gladwin. SUMMER PROPERTY TAXES
Summer property taxes are levied as of July 1st and are due by July 31st. After July 31st a 4% penalty plus 1% interest per month will apply until paid in full. 

SUMMER PROPERTY TAX DEFERMENT
State of Michigan Form 471: This allows for the deferment of real property taxes for property owners that meet strict eligibility requirements. This application must be filed with the treasurer of your city, village, or township. You may file your intent to defer before September 15, or before the date your summer taxes are due, whichever is later. Links below for FAQ's and Summer Tax Deferment Application.

WINTER PROPERTY TAXES 
Winter property taxes are levied as of December 1st and are due by February 14th. Payments made beginning February 15th through March 2nd will have a 3% penalty added.

After March 2nd, ALL taxes (Summer & Winter) must be paid to the County Treasurer and additional fees will apply.


HOW TO MAKE A PAYMENT   
 
Check and Money Order payments can be mailed to City Hall, 1000 W. Cedar Ave, Gladwin MI 48624. If mailing in your payment, be sure to allow enough time for it to be received. Postmark dates are NOT accepted. 

Check, Cash, and Credit/Debit Card payments can be made in person at City Hall. Payments can be made by phone @ 844-368-2606.

Fee Notice: a 3% ($2.00 minimum) processing fee will apply on all Credit/Debit Card and Electronic Check Payments 

For after-hours payments, a convenient drive-up drop box is located at City Hall (East of the Mailbox). A second drop box is also located on the right side of the building entrance to City Hall. 

PLEASE... Do not put CASH in the drop boxes. Also, 
make sure to note the Account# or Parcel# on the payment to ensure it gets applied correctly.
