FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT  (FOIA) REQUESTS

The Freedom of Information Act is a Michigan Statute that gives the public the rights to documents regarding the affairs of government, public officials, and public employees.  Under the Act, a person has the right to inspect, copy, or receive copies of “public records” of a “public body.”

To make a Freedom of Information Act request, you can call the City Clerk at (989) 426-9231 Ext. 11, email the City Clerk at clerk@gladwin.org or print & complete the FOIA request form below and return it to City Hall.
